WIGAN AND DISTRICT MASONIC GOLF SOCIETY

The society was set up in 1971 and has approx. 50 members. It has been able to give donations to the Charities by contributions from Lodges and Chapters and funds generated by members for which the society is most grateful.

There is an annual competition where the members play for:-
The Atkinson Trophy
The Ledger Trophy (Lodges teams)
The C.Davies Trophy (over 65)
Ladies Competition
The Mike Wareing Trophy ( Wigan v Chorley ).

The 6 highest scores in the Atkinson Trophy match would normally go forward to represent Wigan at the West Lancashire Masonic Golf Final.
